Samsung Galaxy J3V Headphone Jack Replacement

This repair guide is for replacing a faulty headphone jack on your Samsung Galaxy J3V.

Step 1 | Headphone Jack

Locate the back cover's retaining tab in the top left corner.

Pry the tab open with your thumb.
Lift off the back cover.

Step 2

Use a Phillips #J000 screwdriver to remove the 10 2.0 mm screws.

Step 3

Be prepared for potential difficulty when removing the screen, as there may be an adhesive seal.

Use a small suction cup to lift the screen.
Insert a small plastic opening tool under the screen and pry it up.

Step 4

Use a spudger to gently pry up the connector tab.

Careful not to damage the surrounding components.

Using tweezers, carefully grasp and remove the headphone jack.
