Samsung Galaxy J3 Luna Pro Motherboard Change Replacement
If your phone suddenly stops working, consider replacing the motherboard.
- Start by opening up the device to access its internal components.
- Identify and disconnect the battery connector.
- The next step is to locate and carefully remove the motherboard.
Step 1 | Motherboard Change
Power down your phone.
- Take out theback cover.
- Disconnect thebattery.
Step 2
Attach a suction cup to the screen and gently pry upwards.
- Insert the plastic opening tool into the gap under the screen and work your way around the perimeter.
Do not remove the screen completely, as there are cables still connecting the two pieces.
Step 3
- Insert the pointy end of a spudger under the white plastic cover and gently lift.
- Pry the display cable away from the motherboard using the spudger.
- Remove the screen.
Step 4
Remove eleven JIS 00 screws from the mid-frame.
- Use a spudger to carefully pry the mid-frame from the screen.
Step 5
Disconnect the motherboard mounting screws and gently pull the motherboard away from the mid-frame.
