Use a heat gun or hair dryer to heat up the front edges of the phone for about 2 minutes.

Keep approximately 6 inches away from the screen to prevent damage.

  • Instead, use a continuous motion around the phone's edges with the heat gun or hair dryer.

Use caution when separating the screen and frame to avoid damaging internal components.

  • Insert a pry tool between glass display and phone's frame while adhesive is still warm and flexible.
  • Slowly slide another pry tool around all edges, breaking adhesive's bond to the display.
  • Do not apply excessive force as this may damage internal components.
  • Avoid inserting pry tool more than 1cm into top edge to prevent damaging fragile cables.
