Remove the battery, SIM card, and memory card.

Remove the digitizer cable from the back.

  • Pull the tab on the rear panel to expose the connector.

Step 4 | Lift screen from bottom to top be careful not to tear connector at top of screen and digitizer

Do not force the digitizer to separate from the screen.

  • Carefully hold the screen in place with one hand.
  • Use a plastic pry bar to lift the digitizer from the back.
  • If it does not come up easily, stop and put the screen down.
  • Reheat until the glue is melted enough for easy release.

Step 5 | Disconnecting screen from digitizer on back is a tab pull plastic tab up to release gold connector from digitizer
