Samsung Galaxy Grand Midframe Replacement

Use a blue plastic opening tool to lift up the back cover tab.

• Work your way along the edge, using the tool to pry the back cover away from the phone's casing.

Risk of damage from corrosion — clean terminals regularly.

• Lift up the thumb tab to remove the old battery.
• Clean the brass terminals on the battery and phone with a small amount of ISO on a Q-tip.

Remove the nine 4mm screws from the midframe using a Phillips #000 screwdriver.

Insert the blue plastic opening tool between the front and side panels.

• Work the tool along the edges to dislodge any remaining connections.

Detach the mid-frame from both the inside and outside.

• Remove the frame screws holding it in place.
• Gently pull the mid-frame away from the surrounding components.
