Risk of further damage if not handled carefully.

Remove the SIM tray.
Use a plastic spudger to pry off the back cover.
Disconnect the display connector.
Remove the broken touch screen glass digitizer.
Replace it with a new one and secure it properly.
Reconnect the display connector and reassemble in reverse order.

Step 1 | SIM and Memory Cards

Disconnect the battery, SIM, and microSD card.

Locate the battery compartment
Pry open the battery cover to access the battery
Gently pull out the battery
Also, remove any installed SIM and microSD card from their respective slots.

Step 2 | Rear Cover 1

Remove all 12 x small Phillips screws.

Use a plastic tool to begin disassembling from the bottom side.
You may require multiple plastic tools for this process.

Step 3 | Rear Cover 2

Use a precision pick or similar tool to carefully unhook the rear bezel from its frame near the battery connector.

The rear bezel should now be separable.
Note: The rear bezel houses the Loudspeaker.

Step 4 | Logic Board

Remove one Phillips screw.

Disconnect the Vloume UP/DWN buttons flex cable.
Disconnect the Power ON button flex cable.
Disconnect the LCD flex cable.
Disconnect the Front camera.
Disconnect the Audio jack flex cable.

Gently remove the logic board to avoid damage.

Step 5 | Front Camera

Remove the front camera.

Be careful when handling the touchscreen flex cable to avoid damage.
Disconnect the touchscreen flex cable, then carefully unstuck it from the middle frame.

Step 6 | Touch Screen Removal - Part 1

Be cautious of the menu buttons flex cable located underneath the touch screen glass when separating the glass from the frame.

Warm the glass using a hot air gun or hair dryer to soften the adhesive tape.
Begin separation at the upper side with a plastic tool.

Step 7 | Touch Screen Removal - Part 2

Warm the glass by heating it gently.

Separate the glass with ease.
Unstick the menu buttons flex cable.
Remove the glass.

Step 8 | Cleaning

Locate and remove the small plate in the touch screen flex cable slot.

Dispose of any adhesive remnants.
Clean the LCD thoroughly with a soft cloth and cleaning solution.

Step 9 | Installation of the new Touch Screen

Install the new touch screen.

Begin by reassembling in reverse order of disassembly.
