Identify the small indent at the device's top, then pry the backplate away from the mid-frame using your fingernails or a spudger.

Locate the battery latch at the bottom left corner of the battery compartment.

• Lift the battery using your fingers or a plastic spudger.

Remove the five 3mm screws along the top and bottom edges with a Philips #00 screwdriver.

• Note that one of these screws may be hidden under reflective foil –

  breaking this will void the warranty

• Use a plastic removal tool to work around the edges, prying the mid-frame from the device.

• Be cautious as it may take some effort and attempt to work slowly to avoid breaking anything

Locate the vibration unit inside the mid-frame, top-left corner.

• Use tweezers to remove the small plastic slip on the left side of the unit.
• Target the small flap on the right edge for secure grip.
• Insert tweezers into the crevice at the bottom-left of the device's housing and push upwards.
• The vibration unit should now be removable. It may require some force due to weak adhesive holding it in place.
