Samsung Galaxy Fame S6812i SPEAKER Replacement
Replace the speaker on your Samsung Galaxy Fame S6812i using this guide.
Step 1 | Remove the battery cover
Press and hold the power button until the phone turns off.
- Pry open the back cover using your thumb nail or a plastic spudger.
Step 2 | Remove the battery
Use the plastic opening tool or your thumbnail to gently lift the battery out.
Step 3 | Removing screws and stickers
Remove the five 4 mm screws using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.
- Do not forget to remove the sticker covering the left bottom corner screw.
Step 4 | Removing the mid-frame
The plastic mounting clips are extremely delicate, so handle them with care.
- Pry into the bezel using a plastic opening tool to release the mid-frame.
- Gently move the plastic opening tool around the mid-frame to separate it from the display assembly.
- Be cautious when working near the volume button, as its area is particularly sensitive.
Step 5 | Remove the speaker
Perform the next step with care — potential damage to the device if mishandled.
- Use tweezers to carefully remove the speaker from the system.
- Install the new speaker and reassemble the phone, ensuring all components are securely in place.
