Samsung Galaxy Fame S6812i Midframe Replacement

Step 1 | Remove back cover

Remove the back cover from the midframe using a thumbnail.

Step 2

Remove any protective stickers to access all visible screws.

Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the five 4 mm screws.

Step 3

Use a plastic opening tool to remove the battery.

Step 4 | Separating the midframe

Pry off the mid-frame with a plastic opening tool, taking care not to damage the fragile plastic mounting clips.

Begin at the bezel and work your way around the frame, gently prying it away from the display assembly.
Pay extra attention when working near the volume button.

Step 5 | Final step

Install the new mid-frame.

Reverse the steps from separation.
