Samsung Galaxy Express 3 Screen Replacement

Replace the damaged glass digitizer and faulty LCD screen.

Step 1 | Battery

Locate the indent area marked with red highlighting.

Use either your fingernail or a Prying Tool (like a guitar pick) to gently separate the back from the phone's body.

Step 2

Avoid using metal tools to lift the battery.

Remove the cover to access the battery.

Plastic Prying Tool (or fingernail) to carefully lift the bottom indent of the battery.

Step 3 | Screen

Use a Plastic Prying Tool, such as a spudger, to carefully pry out the indicated part.

Step 4

Disconnect the screen connector.

Step 5

Failure to loosen the screen adhesive properly may damage the screen or LCD.

Apply heat to the screen using a blow dryer or heating pad.
Wait until the glue is soft and pliable before proceeding.

Step 6

Use only plastic tools to avoid damaging the screen.

Choose a plastic spudger or guitar pick for lifting out the digitizer and LCD screen.

Lift around the edges, working slowly and carefully to minimize risk of damage or cracking.
