Samsung Galaxy Centura Camera Replacement
To replace the camera in a Samsung Galaxy Centura:
- Remove the plastic casing
- Disconnect the battery
- Extract the motherboard
The camera can only be accessed after completing these steps.
Step 1 | Battery
Press the plastic opening tool into the rectangular groove on top.
Pull back firmly to avoid damage.
- The device should now be partially open.
- Continue to pull until fully opened as shown.
Step 2
- Remove the back casing to reveal the battery.
- Pull the battery upwards gently with your thumb and index finger.
Step 3 | Camera
Locate the 7 screws on the back of the device.
- Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the five 5.0mm screws.
Step 4
Locate the three metal clips holding the camera in place.
- Pull these clips away from the camera using a pair of tweezers.
- Lift the camera out of the plastic housing using the tweezers.
