Samsung Galaxy Amp 2 Speaker Replacement

Careful use of a heat gun or blow dryer is required when disassembling the Galaxy Amp 2 to prevent damage.

Disassemble the Galaxy Amp 2 if you're experiencing audio issues during calls or music playback.

Heat gun or blow dryer may be required for disassembly, use with caution.

Step 1 | Battery

Insert a fingernail or an opening tool into the divot on the side of the phone, located to the left of the rear-facing camera.

Lift upwards and gently pry the rear panel off of the phone.

Step 2

Insert a plastic opening tool or fingernail into the gap at the bottom right corner of the battery.

Lift upward on the tool to release the battery.
Grip the battery securely and lift it out of the phone carefully.

Step 3 | Screen

Use angled tweezers to lift the small rectangular guard at the upper right corner of the phone.

Remove the connector piece from the back panel.

Step 4

Apply heat to the periphery of the screen using a heat gun or blow dryer for 1-2 minutes.

Step 5

Remove the screen using four plastic opening tools, prying it off carefully.
Alternatively, use a suction tool to gently pull the screen away from its mounting points.

Step 6 | Motherboard

Remove the nine PH screws (4.5mm) using a screwdriver with a PH000 bit.

From the back panel, push gently to release the bottom part of the motherboard.
From the front panel, apply gentle pressure to release the top part of the motherboard.

Step 7 | Speaker

Disconnect the speaker from the top of the motherboard.

Gently pull on the speaker connector.
