Samsung Galaxy Amp 2 Screen Replacement
Use caution when repairing your damaged screen to avoid further damage.
- Assess if a replacement screen is needed due to cracking or unresponsiveness.
- Apply heat carefully using a heat gun (or alternative blow dryer) to loosen the screen.
- Detatch delicate wiring with care to prevent phone damage.
Step 1 | Battery
Insert a fingernail or an opening tool into the divot on the side of the phone, located to the left of the rear-facing camera.
- Lift upwards and gently pry the rear panel off of the phone.
Step 2
Insert a fingernail or plastic opening tool into the gap at the bottom right corner of the battery.
- Lift upward to dislodge the battery.
- Safely remove the battery from the phone by gripping it firmly.
Step 3 | Screen
Use angled tweezers to lift the small rectangular guard in the upper-right corner.
- Lift the connector piece away from the back panel.
Step 4
Use a heat gun or blow dryer to apply gentle heat around the screen's perimeter for 1-2 minutes.
Step 5
Remove the screen using 4 plastic opening tools.
- Gently pry off the screen
- Alternative method: Use a suction tool to pull the screen off.
