Samsung Galaxy Alpha Micro USB port Replacement
- Samsung Galaxy Alpha features a replaceable micro USB port.
- To replace, identify and address any damage or malfunctions with the current port.
Step 1 | Removing the Back Panel
Locate the slot on the top left side of the phone's back panel, next to the flashlight.
- Insert your fingernail or prying tool into the slot and gently lift up to slightly open the top left corner.
- Slide your tool around the outer edge of the back panel to fully release it from the phone.
Step 2 | Battery
Ensure the device is fully powered down before proceeding.
- The new NFC antenna should be included with the replacement battery, as it is glued in place.
- Insert your thumb into the slot located at the base of the battery and push slightly towards the battery, then outwards from the phone to release the battery.
