Disassembling Samsung Galaxy Ace Logic Board

Remove the battery cover by sliding it off.

  • Next, lift out the battery.

Remove all 7 silver screws using a Phillips #000 screwdriver.

  • Be careful with the green screw, as it may be difficult to remove.

    Use a tweezer for easier removal.

Lift the back cover carefully from the screen assembly, starting at the bottom.

Handle with care, as the flexible on/off button is delicate and may break or tear.

Use a flat tweezer to carefully lift the flexible on/off button from its frame location.

Remove the Flexible volume button on the left side using a flat tweezer and gentle care.

Be cautious not to cut the cable; lift the flex slowly when removing it.

  • Repeat the process for the right side.
  • Take your time to avoid damaging the flex or cable.

Remove the microphone from the logic board.

Do not force removal to avoid damaging the soldered connections.

  • Lift the sensor/earpiece cable using a opening tool.

Lift the logic board from the right side.

  • Use a removal tool to unplug the display cable from the logic board.
  • The logic board can now be separated from the display assembly.

Use the removal tool to unclip the camera module from the Logic board.

Do not apply excessive force when removing the speaker module.

  • Use a removal tool or a spudger to disconnect the speaker module cable.
  • Gently create small wave-like movements to release the speaker module's plastic teeth from the Logic board.

Proceed to work on the Logic board.
