Samsung Galaxy A54 5G Will Not Connect to Internet

No internet access on your Samsung Galaxy A54 5G? Check our troubleshooting guide for possible fixes.

Step 1 | Unresponsive Network Signal

Ensure Wi-Fi connectivity by activating Airplane mode:

  • Swipe down to access the Quick Panel.
  • Activate Airplane mode.
  • Wait for a few seconds, then turn off Airplane mode.

If unresponsive, try restarting by holding power and volume down buttons simultaneously.

Step 2 | Network Instability and Incorrect APN Configuration

Corrupted carrier access protocols or deep-seated software configuration conflicts may cause connection issues.

  • Select Mobile networks from Settings, then Network mode, and change to LTE preferred.
  • In Access Point Names menu, click three dots above and select Reset to default.

If problem persists, reset all settings by going to General management - Reset - Reset all settings (or Reset mobile network settings / Reset Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings) and restart phone.

Step 3 | Dysfunctional SIM Card

Insert the SIM card correctly into the device.

  • If the phone still fails to connect, check for a damaged SIM card.
  • A damaged SIM card must be replaced in this case.

Step 4 | Software (Android / One UI) Not Up-to-Date

Ensure your phone's software is up-to-date by visiting Settings, selecting Software update and checking for any available updates.

  • If an update is found, download it to resolve potential compatibility issues.
  • This will also improve the overall performance of your applications and operating system.

Step 5 | Software (Android / One UI) Update

Check if recent updates have been applied.

  • If no network issues were present prior to the update, try rolling back to a previous version from your Settings.
  • Wait for the next available update to resolve any potential issues.
