Never attempt repair with a swollen battery — risk of fire or explosion.

  • Backup your data before removing the motherboard.
  • Discharge the battery to below 25% for safe disassembly.
  • Replace worn-out rear cameras in your Samsung Galaxy A54 5G.
  • Secure replacement adhesive when reassembling for water protection.
  • Verify motherboard failure through troubleshooting before proceeding.

Step 1 | Back Glass

Completely power off your phone.

  • Remove the SIM card holder.

Loosen the adhesive with an iOpener applied for at least two minutes on each side, or use a hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate while taking care not to overheat (display and battery risk damage).

Attach a suction handle to the edge of the back cover, near the edge.

  • If the back cover is cracked, secure the suction handle with strong tape or superglue and let it cure.

It may take multiple attempts to lift the cover successfully. Be cautious not to overheat the adhesive while using heat.

  • Lift the back cover with the suction handle, creating a small gap between the cover and frame.
  • Insert an opening pick into the gap.
  • Slide the opening pick along the phone's side to break the adhesive, leaving it in place to prevent re-sealing.

Step 3

  • Slide the opening pick along the side of the phone to slice the adhesive.
  • Leave the opening picks in place to prevent the adhesive from resealing.
