Step 1 | Back Glass

Ensure your phone is completely powered off before disassembly.

  • Remove the SIM card holder.

Prepare an iOpener, apply it to the back cover for at least two minutes per side to loosen adhesive.

Alternatively, use a hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate, but be cautious not to overheat the phone, as display and internal battery may be damaged by excessive heat.

Secure a suction handle to the back cover's edge, as close as possible.

  • If the back cover is cracked, attach strong tape or apply superglue for better adhesion.
  • Lift the back cover with the suction handle, creating a small gap between the back and frame.

It may take multiple attempts; if needed, reapply heat to soften the adhesive (follow iOpener instructions).

Insert an opening pick into the created gap.

Slide the pick along the phone's side to slice the adhesive. Leave it in place to prevent resealing.
