Discharge battery below 25% before disassembly to avoid thermal risk.
Use this guide to replace a worn-out or dead Galaxy A52 battery. You'll need replacement adhesive for reassembly.
Prepare an iOpener by applying it to the back cover for at least two minutes to loosen adhesive.
Avoid overheating; the display and internal battery are vulnerable to heat damage.
Secure a suction handle to the right edge of the back cover, as close to the edge as possible.
If the back cover is damaged, the suction handle may not stick. Try lifting it with strong tape or superglueing in place and allowing it to cure.
Insert an opening pick into the created gap.
Insert the opening pick into the top right corner and slide it along the seam to cut the adhesive.
Position a second opening pick at the top right edge.
Reheat the adhesive if it becomes hard to cut.
Insert a fourth opening pick underneath the bottom left corner of your phone.
Place the opening pick under the top-left corner.
Always handle broken glass with care — risk of cuts.
Remove the motherboard cover with a Phillips screwdriver. The cover is held by ten 4.4 mm long screws.
Use a spudger to carefully pry the battery cable connector straight up from its socket.
Use the flat end of a spudger to pry up and disconnect the interconnect cable from its socket.
Avoid sharp bends that can damage the interconnect flex cable.
Apply a few drops of adhesive remover or high-concentration (90% or higher) isopropyl alcohol into the gap at the left edge of the battery.
Insert a plastic card into the wider gap between the midframe and battery for more space.
If the battery is still sticky, repeat the previous adhesive remover procedure or use an iOpener to soften the adhesive before proceeding.
Never reinstall a damaged or deformed battery due to potential safety hazards.
Ensure all alcohol solution is removed from the phone before reassembling and installing the new battery.
