Power off your phone completely before proceeding.

• Apply an iOpener to the back cover to loosen the adhesive.
• If necessary, use a hair dryer or heat gun to aid in removal.

Be cautious of overheating: avoid damage to the AMOLED display and internal battery.

Insert opening pick tip at bottom of phone near USB-C port.

• If necessary, use suction handle or tape to pull back cover and create gap.
• Slide opening pick to bottom right corner, leaving it there.

Slide another opening pick along the bottom edge, starting from the right and moving towards the left.

• Continue applying pressure until you've cut through the adhesive.
• Leave the opening picks in place to prevent resealing of the adhesive.

Insert a third opening pick under the bottom left corner of the back cover.

Apply additional heat if necessary, but follow iOpener instructions carefully to avoid overheating.

• Slide the opening pick along the left edge of the phone.
• Leave the opening pick in place at the top left corner to prevent resealing of the adhesive.

Insert a fourth opening pick under the top left corner near the camera.

• Slide the tip of the opening pick along the top edge to the right corner, cutting the adhesive.
• Leave the opening pick in place at the top right corner to prevent resealing.

Insert the fifth opening pick into the top right corner.

• Slide the pick down the right edge to the bottom right corner.
• Use this technique to break the remaining adhesive.

Remove the back cover.

• Apply strong, steady pressure to the phone using a stack of heavy books.
• Hold pressure for several minutes to allow adhesive to form a good bond.
