Samsung Galaxy A50 Display Assembly with Frame Replacement
Step 1 | LCD Display Assembly replacement
For the Samsung Galaxy A50, replace or upgrade to a new Touch Screen Digitizer Assembly that comes pre-assembled with a frame.
- Ensure the replacement assembly is specifically designed for your device model.
- Follow proper installation procedures to avoid damaging any internal components.
Step 2 | Battery cover removal
Use caution when applying heat, as it may damage components.
- Apply gentle heat to loosen the adhesive on the back cover using a hair dryer or heat gun.
- Use a Suction Cup and plastic tools to carefully separate the back cover from the device.
Step 3 | Middle frame removal
Remove the SIM tray.
- Remove the Philips screws.
- Separate the middle frame using a plastic tool.
Step 4 | Test the new spare part
- Disconnect the Battery.
- Test the new spare part before installing it.
Step 5 | Logic board removal
Disconnect the Main Flex Cable.
- Remove the black Philips screw, shorter than the middle frame screws.
- Disconnect the coaxial antenna cable.
You can now safely remove the logic board.
Step 6 | Sub board removal
Remove the Fingerprint sensor.
- The screws for the fingerprint sensor are shorter.
- Preferably use a heat gun to loosen the sub-board before disassembling it.
- Use only plastic tools.
Step 7 | Battery removal
Use hot air to soften the adhesive, then carefully remove the battery using a plastic tool, moving at a slow pace.
Step 8
When a task is completed successfully, it can be considered a success.
