Switch off your phone.
Be aware that phone screens have two layers (glass and display), and ensure you are separating both without splitting them.
Use an opening pick to loosen glue along the side of the display, then gently lift it for better access.
Repeat these steps on the opposite side of the display, ensuring cable safety.
Do not remove the display completely — it is still connected to the motherboard.
Locate the display connector in the top right corner.
Remove the home button and set it aside.
Insert the opening pick tip below the volume buttons.
Rotate the midframe outwards by gently pushing the top part towards the open left side.
Be careful when handling the midframe as it is very fragile.
