Insert the opening pick into the bottom right corner and gently pry the plastic clips free from the phone assembly.
Slide the opening pick along the right edge of the phone assembly to disengage the remaining plastic clips securing the midframe.
Remove the midscreen.
Use the flat end of a spudger to pry up and release the battery cable.
Use a spudger to gently pry up the upper end of the main flex cable.
Avoid applying adhesive remover in the bottom right corner near the display connector, as it may loosen the display adhesive.
Avoid deforming the battery to prevent potential chemical leakage or fire/explosion risks.
If the battery is sticky, repeat the adhesive remover procedure before proceeding.
Remove the battery.
Never reinstall a damaged or deformed battery, as this poses a safety hazard.
