Samsung Galaxy A3 2015 Battery Replacement

Discharging the battery below 25% reduces the risk of explosion or fire in case it's punctured during repair.

  • Battery swap requires removal of the display and midframe.
  • Replacement adhesive is needed for reattaching the display.
  • The LCD may break when opening, due to its strong adhesion to the frame.

Power off your phone.

If your screen is cracked, cover the front panel with tape to protect against glass shards and aid lifting.

  • Apply an iOpener to soften the adhesive along the display's edge, focusing on the sides first and then the bottom.
  • Lift the display slightly using an iSclack or suction handle, allowing access for an opening pick in the gap.

Initial insertion: place only the tip of the opening pick into the side seam, sliding it along to loosen the adhesive.
