Samsung Galaxy A14 Screen Replacement

Power off your device before starting the replacement process.

Step 1 | Remove the Sim Tray and Power Off the device.

Power off the device before proceeding to prevent electrical shock or damage.

  • Insert a SIM tray pin or safe needle into the small hole to eject the SIM Tray.
  • Pull the SIM Tray out manually and set it aside.

Step 2 | Open the phone.

Use the prying tool on any area below the volume buttons or above the camera.

  • Work your way around the phone until the screen is loosened.
  • Once the screen is loose, open the phone like a book.

The initial prying may be challenging, but it will become easier as you progress.

Step 3 | Remove Upper Panel and Disconnect upper wiring.

Remove the top panel by unscrewing it.

  • Avoid electrical shock — disconnect the battery wire (black wire connected to the battery, right of screen wires).

  • Disconnect the screen wires (black and orange wires coming from the bottom, right of the battery wire).

Step 4 | Remove Bottom Panel and Bottom Wiring.

  • Unscrew the bottom panel.
  • Be careful not to damage the wires — ensure they are disconnected properly.

    Disconnect the long black and white wires from both the upper and bottom parts of the device. Remove them from the casing for safekeeping.
  • Disconnect the orange and black LCD wire located near the right side.
  • Remove the bottom board.

Step 5 | Removing the batteries.

A punctured battery can result in fire and/or explosion.

  • Remove the battery with caution.
  • If damaged, discard it immediately.

Use alcohol to loosen strong adhesives if necessary.

  • Locate and remove the vibrate motor at the bottom right.
  • Apply alcohol to break down adhesive holding down the orange wire.
  • Set the vibrate motor aside.

Step 6 | Remove the motherboard.

Set the item to one side.

Step 7

Verify that all components are included in the repair package.

  • Inspect the provided parts for a new display wire, display, and screen.
  • Ensure the part includes these items; if not, double-check the correct part is installed.

Reassemble the phone carefully, following instructions in reverse order.

  • Begin by installing all necessary components into the new casing.
  • Once assembled, power on the phone to verify a proper display function.
