Samsung Galaxy A11 Battery Replacement

Ensure the battery is charged to 25% or less and power off the device before proceeding.

  • Verify if the battery is swollen according to the guide's instructions.
  • If swollen, follow the procedure for removal and recycling.

If replacing the battery, properly dispose of the old one as instructed.

Insert the SIM eject tool into the sim tray hole.

  • Persistently push on the tool until a section of the sim tray is partially ejected.
  • Continue to pull out the remaining part of the sim tray.

Insert an iFixit opening pick near the SIM tray and gently pry open the area.

  • Gently move the pick along the gap to release the clips holding it together.
  • Alternatively, use multiple picks to prevent the back cover from closing.

Apply low heat from a hair dryer in 30-second increments to the fingerprint sensor.

Be cautious not to apply excessive heat.

  • After heating, gently push on the fingerprint sensor until it detaches.
  • If required, use a tool to pry the button from the bottom of the device and remove it.

Remove the three 3mm screws from the shield with a Phillips #000 screwdriver.

  • Remove the shield from the phone.

Use a tweezers, spudger, or your fingers to disconnect the battery press connector.

Avoid using a hairdryer on expanded batteries or heat.

  • Use an iFixit pry tool to loosen the adhesive under the battery edge.
  • If necessary, use multiple pry tools to stabilize the battery.

Pry carefully to avoid puncturing the battery.

Continue cutting and prying until the battery separates from the phone.

Remove the battery from the device entirely.
