Samsung Galaxy A10e Motherboard Cover Replacement

Remove all external accessories, including SIM card and SD cards, to prevent damage during repair.

  • Power down the device by pressing and holding the power button for 10 seconds.
  • Allow the device to fully discharge if it's been in use recently.

Step 1 | SIM Card

Insert a SIM card eject tool, bit, or a straightened paperclip into the small hole in the SIM card tray.

Be careful not to push too hard and damage the tray.

Press down on the eject button to eject the tray.

Remove the SIM card tray from the phone.

  • The SIM card(s) and SD card will fall out of the tray easily.
  • When reinserting the tray, ensure the SIM card and SD card are in the correct slots and oriented correctly.

For dual-SIM versions, carefully place each SIM card in its corresponding slot to avoid incorrect phone line configuration.

Step 3 | Back Cover

Locate the plastic clips holding the back cover in place.

  • Insert a credit card or opening pick between the screen and back cover at the charging port.

Slide the opening pick to the bottom left corner to release the clips.

Slide the opening pick along the left edge to the top left corner.

This action will release the clips.

Step 6

Insert an opening pick into the top left corner of the device.

  • Guide the pick across to the top right corner.
  • The plastic clips should now be released.

Slide the opening pick from the top right corner, moving it down to the bottom right corner.

Be careful not to apply too much pressure and damage nearby components.

Remove the back cover.

Step 9 | Motherboard Cover

Remove three Phillips #00 screws with a 3mm length.

  • The screws are for the motherboard antenna cover.

Step 10

Use the tip of a spudger or tweezers to carefully pry off the antenna cover.

Step 11

Remove three Phillips #00 x 3mm length screws from the motherboard cover.

  • Identify and locate the screw holes.
  • Use a Phillips driver to turn each screw counterclockwise until removed.

Step 12

Remove the motherboard cover with the tip of a spudger or tweezers.
