Samsung Galaxy A10 Charging Port Replacement

Replace the Micro USB charging connector on a Samsung A10 or A10s device.

Step 1 | Remove the back cover

Remove the SIM Tray.

  • Separate the back cover using a plastic tool.

Remove the silver Phillips screws to access and disassemble the motherboard shields.

Disconnect the battery.

  • Remove the screws using a suitable tool.
  • Take off the charging board shield.

Step 4 | Remove the charging board

Disconnect the main flex cable from its socket.

  • Also, disconnect the coaxial antenna cables from their sockets.
  • Next, remove the charging board.

Remove any debris from the microphone hole and cover it with adhesive-backed felt or a similar material.

  • Apply heat from a hair dryer or heat gun to loosen the Micro USB connector.
  • Gently pry the connector away using a spudger.

Remove any debris from the tin.

  • Install the new charging connector securely.

Use a soft-bristled brush to gently sweep away any debris from the circuit board.

  • Inspect the board for any visible signs of damage or corrosion.
  • Connect the power source and turn on the device to test its functionality.
