Locate the slit on the bottom edge of your Samsung Galaxy S.
A spudger may be required to facilitate removal.
Insert the edge of the spudger into the sill and gently pry the back case off.
Slide the spudger under the battery, creating space to pry it loose.
Remove the screwdriver and turn it counterclockwise to loosen each of the 6 silver screws. If they're stuck, apply gentle pressure with a spudger.
Use a plastic opening tool to pry the main case from the LCD touchscreen.
Remove the main case and LCD touchscreen as a single unit.
Remove the grey rubber component using a spudger.
Pry along the groove between the speaker and main case using a spudger.
