Samsung Exhibit II 4G Rear Facing Camera Replacement

Use a plastic opening tool to pry up the back cover.

• Position the tool underneath the edge of the cover.
• Gently apply pressure while sliding the tool downwards to release the cover.

Insert plastic opening tool under the battery.

• Pry the battery out.

Insert the plastic opening tool under the back cover.

• Pry the top cover upward with the plastic opening tool.
• The top cover should now be removable from the phone.

Disconnect and remove the top cover.

• Remove the four 3.8mm Phillips #000 screws securing the top cover.
• Two screws from the top
• and two screws from the back

• Place a plastic opening tool under the top cover.
• Slide the top cover away from the phone using your hand.

Remove the four 3.8mm Phillips #000 screws holding the back assembly in place.

• Insert a plastic opening tool between the back assembly and the phone.
• Pry the back assembly away from the phone using the plastic opening tool.

Use a plastic opening tool to pry around the edge of the back assembly.

Pull the back panel assembly away from the main body.

Disconnect the camera assembly cable with the flat end of a spudger.

Remove the camera module from the square housing.
