• Use a fingernail or plastic opening tool to gently pry the back cover upwards from the underside.

Avoid exposing your hands to moisture, as it can cause electrical shock.

Locate the battery removal hole.

Use a dry fingernail to carefully pull the battery out of its compartment.

Remove the six Phillips #00 screws from the back of the phone using a Phillips #00 Precision Screwdriver.

• Remove the inside back cover using a plastic opening tool.
• Position the tool on the outside rim of the cover and carefully lift, circling around the rim to open it completely.
• Disconnect ribbon cables before lifting the cover further.
• Lift the inside back cover slowly and remove it.

Remove the speaker from its location by lifting it off with a plastic opening tool.
