Samsung Admire Camera Replacement
Replacing the camera in your phone is the focus of this guide.
Step 1 | Back Cover
Remove the back cover by inserting a finger or using the plastic opening tool under the provided slit.
Step 2 | Remove the Battery
Ensure your hands are free from moisture to prevent electrical shock.
- Insert a fingernail under the battery and gently pry it loose.
Step 3 | Remove the screws
- Remove the six screws in the back using a Phillips #00 Precision Screwdriver.
- Store the screws safely on a magnetic mat to avoid loss.
Step 4 | Inside back Cover
- Apply the Plastic Opening tool to the outer edge of the back cover.
- Carefully rotate around the rim until the inside back cover is fully exposed.
Disconnect all ribbon cables before removing the back cover.
Step 5 | Motherboard
Disconnect the volume button, microphone connector, and screen connector from the motherboard.
- Pull back the side clips.
- Lift the motherboard slowly.
Step 6 | Camera
- Disconnect the camera module using a plastic opening tool.
- Install the replacement camera module onto the motherboard.
