  • Samsung Galaxy Note10+ users, use this guide for replacing the wireless charging coil.

This includes disconnection of the battery.

Step 1 | Heat the rear cover

Completely power off your device before disassembly.

  • Apply an iOpener to the left edge of the rear cover for one minute.
  • Use a hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate (but be careful not to overheat) if an iOpener is not available.

The display and internal battery are susceptible to heat damage.

Apply suction cup carefully — risk of damage.

  • Attach suction cup to heated rear cover edge, as close as possible.
  • If cracked, apply clear packing tape for better adhesion.
  • Alternatively, use strong tape instead or superglue the suction cup.

Do not apply excessive force, which may damage your phone.

  • Pull up on suction cup with steady force to create gap between rear cover and frame.
  • If having trouble, reapply heat and try again if necessary.

Insert opening pick point into created gap carefully.

Step 3 | Begin to slice the adhesive

Do not insert the opening pick more than halfway into the phone, as this may damage internal components.

  • Slide the opening pick along the left edge towards the bottom left corner to cut the adhesive.
  • Leave the opening pick in place at the bottom left corner to prevent re-sealing of the adhesive.

Step 4 | Slice around the perimeter of the phone
