Samsung Galaxy Note10+ Front-Facing Camera Replacement

This repair is specific to the Samsung Galaxy Note10+ model. Proceed with caution and ensure you have the correct tools and replacement parts.

  • Follow the instructions in this guide carefully, taking note of any specific requirements for your device.

Step 1 | Heat the rear cover

Power off your phone completely.

  • Apply an iOpener to the left edge of the rear cover for one minute.
  • A heat source (i.e., hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate), but be cautious not to overheat as display and internal battery are susceptible to damage.

Step 2 | Insert an opening pick

Apply a suction cup to the heated edge of the rear cover as close to the edge as possible.

  • If your rear cover is badly cracked, covering it with clear packing tape may improve suction.
  • Alternatively, use strong tape instead of the suction cup or superglue it in place if necessary.

Use strong, steady force to pull up on the suction cup and create a gap between the rear cover and frame.

  • This may be challenging depending on your phone's age; try applying more heat and attempting again if needed.
  • Insert the point of an opening pick into the created gap.

Step 3 | Begin to slice the adhesive

Insert the opening pick along the left edge, angling it towards the bottom left corner.

  • Slice the adhesive using a smooth, gentle motion.

Do not insert the opening pick more than halfway into the phone to avoid damaging internal components.

Leave the pick in place at the bottom left corner to maintain access.

Step 4 | Slice around the perimeter of the phone

Continue applying heat and using a cutting tool to cut along the remaining three sides of the phone.

  • Leave an opening pick on each side before moving to the next one to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

The rear cover will begin to separate from the phone as you complete all sides, be careful not to damage any internal components.
