Completely power off your phone before proceeding.
Excessive heat can damage the display and internal battery; use caution when applying heat sources.
Apply a suction cup to the heated edge of the rear cover as close to the edge as possible.
If the rear cover is badly cracked, covering it with clear packing tape may be necessary for the suction cup to adhere.
Insert the point of an opening pick into the gap.
Insert an opening pick along the left edge, moving towards the bottom left corner.
Do not fully insert the opening pick as this may cause internal component damage.
Leave the pick inserted in the bottom left corner to maintain separation of the adhesive.
Continue to heat and cut the remaining sides.
The rear cover may separate from the phone as you complete the procedure.
Remove the rear cover by lifting it straight up.
Remove the wireless charging coil by taking out the five Phillips head screws, each with a diameter of 4mm.
Use a tweezers to lift up and flip back the metal shield covering the battery connector.
Hold the metal shield out of the way.
Disconnect the wireless charging coil connector from the motherboard using the pointed end of a spudger.
Hold the metal shielding upwards.
Remove the loudspeaker's mounting screws.
Remove the loudspeaker using a pair of tweezers.
Disconnect and remove the interconnect cables.
Remove the charging assembly daughterboard by unscrewing the three 4 mm screws using a Phillips screwdriver.
Insert the pointed tip of a spudger into the recess and gently pry the daughterboard free.
Remove the daughterboard with a pair of tweezers.
