Oppo X9000 Speaker Drivers Replacement

Familiarize yourself with the chassis layout.

  • Speaker driver components can be found underneath.

Step 1 | Removing the Back Cover

Flip the phone over to access the rear.

  • Start prying the back cover from the top edge near the headphone jack and camera.
  • Gently work your way down both sides and bottom of the phone to completely remove the back cover.

Step 2 | Removing the Battery

Remove the battery by gently lifting the top-right corner nearest to the camera with your finger.

Step 3 | Remove the Back Panel Screws

Remove the 12 exposed 3.6 mm Phillips screws from the rear of the phone.

Use a 3.6 mm Phillips screwdriver to avoid damaging the screws.

  • Set aside the removed screws in a safe location where they will not be lost.

Step 4 | Remove the Rubber Stoppers

Use a spudger to carefully remove the three circular rubber screw covers on the back.

  • Insert spudger into border between cover and chassis, then pry stopper out in one smooth motion.
  • This may require some force.

Step 5 | Remove the Newly Exposed Screws

Remove the three 3.6mm Phillips screws using a 3.6mm Phillips screwdriver.

Step 6 | Lift off the Back Panel

Insert the plastic opening tool under the chassis near the power button.

  • Pry the chassis away from the phone using a gentle but firm motion.
  • You may need to apply a moderate amount of force.

Step 7 | Remove the Speaker Drivers

Use the flat end of the spudger to carefully pry the speaker drivers away from the chassis.
