OPPO N1 Screen Replacement

Now that you've completed the necessary prerequisites, let's proceed with the step-by-step process for disconnecting screen components.

Step 1 | Rear Case

Insert the plastic opening tool into the crevice.

  • The back cover opens easiest when started from here.

Rotate the phone 90° counterclockwise for better access.

  • Gently slide a plastic opening tool along the phone's edge to release the back cover.
  • You may hear some snapping sounds as you do this.
  • The rear case should come free after releasing the back cover.

Step 3 | Battery

  • Use a ph0 Phillips head screwdriver to remove six 4mm long screws.

Remove the sliver plates with tweezers or your fingers.

Remove the black plate by hand.

Use tweezers or your fingers to pull up the connector tabs.

Remove the battery by prying it from the adhesive strip using a blue opening tool.

Step 8 | Motherboard

  • Remove the three connector tabs with tweezers or your fingers.

Remove the motherboard using tweezers or your fingers.

Step 10 | Headphone Jack and Speaker Cover

Use a ph0 Phillips head screwdriver to remove the four 4mm long screws.

  • There are two of these screws.
  • Next, use the same screwdriver to remove six 3mm long screws.

Use tweezers or your fingers to remove the plastic cover.

Step 12 | Screen

Disconnect the connector tab using a pair of tweezers.

The black strip on the sticky tape may tear if not handled carefully.

  • Use a pair of tweezers to gently peel the black strip from the sticky tape.
  • The black strip should now be able to slide through the phone once the screen is removed.

Insert the blue opening tool into the crevice between the screen and the main body.

  • Gently slide the tool along the edge of the phone.

Step 15

Insert the blue opening tool into the gap between the black screen and the white border.

  • Slide the tool along the edge of the black screen.
