OPPO N1 Motherboard Replacement

The motherboard is a critical component of your smartphone.

  • Identify symptoms of motherboard failure, such as a non-functional device.
  • Determine if the issue lies with the motherboard or another component.

This guide will walk you through the replacement process for the motherboard.

Step 1 | Rear Case

Start with the plastic opening tool inserted into the crevice, located where the back cover can be most easily accessed.

Rotate your phone 90° counterclockwise for reference.

  • Gently slide a plastic opening tool around the edge of the phone to release the back cover.
  • You may hear snapping noises as you do so.

Be gentle not to damage any components.

Step 3 | Battery

Use a ph0 Phillips head screwdriver to remove the six magnets, not screws, which hold the motherboard in place.

  • Each magnet is approximately 4mm long and wide.
  • Remove all six magnets carefully to prevent damage.

Remove the sliver plates using tweezers or your bare fingers.

Hold the black plate by the edges and lift it off.

Grasp the connector tabs with tweezers or your fingers and gently pull upwards.

Careful not to damage the device or injure yourself.

  • Hold the blue opening tool at a shallow angle and gently pry the battery away from the sticky tape.
  • Continue prying until the battery is released.

Step 8 | Motherboard

Remove the three connector tabs using tweezers or your fingers.

Use tweezers or your fingers to carefully lift and remove the motherboard.
