OnePlus Nord N200 Rear Cameras Replacement

Ensure that your OnePlus Nord N200 is powered off to avoid short circuits or other damage.

  • Identify symptoms of failing rear cameras: blurry photos, distorted images, camera app crashes, black screen within the camera app, or error messages related to camera hardware.
  • If problems persist after troubleshooting, proceed with replacing the rear camera modules using a new component specifically designed for the OnePlus Nord N200 (model DE2118).
  • Required tools: precision instruments; new camera module.

Before fully reassembling the phone, power on your device to test the new camera's functionality and avoid disassembly in case of issues.

Backup your data before starting the repair to protect against potential data loss.

Adhesive can reform quickly, so be quick when creating the gap.

  • Insert the Jimmy into the seam at the bottom edge, between the rear glass and midframe.
  • Persist with some force to create a gap, if necessary.
  • Leave the Jimmy in place for a few seconds to prevent resealing.

Disconnect the battery from the charger before starting to avoid damaging your phone.

  • Slide a spudger or opening pick under the connector's edge and pry straight up to disconnect the battery.
  • Pry carefully under the edge of the connector, not the socket on the board, to avoid damage.

Work carefully: do not touch or scrape small components on the board.

  • To reconnect:
    • Align the connector over its socket and press down gently with your fingertip on one side, then the other, until it clicks into place.
    • Do not force the connector

For wider connectors: do not press in the middle until fully seated to avoid bending or breaking pins.

Do not apply excessive force when reconnecting coaxial connectors.

  • Disconnect the black Coaxial connector, the ground cable, first.
  • Peel the tape in the upper right corner of the phone to reveal the black coaxial cable.
  • To disconnect: use a thin ESD-safe pry tool or angled tweezers to lift straight up from the board, under the metal neck of the connector.
  • When reconnecting: hold the connector with tweezers and press gently downwards; it should "snap" into place.

Avoid applying force or breaking the socket off the board.

Pry under the edge of the connector, not the socket on the board, to avoid damaging it.

  • Insert a spudger or opening tool under the press connector and pry straight up to disconnect it.
  • Carefully work around small components on the board to avoid accidental damage.
  • Use tweezers to remove the camera module from the board.
  • Do not force the connector into place; reposition and try again if necessary.

    • Align the connector carefully over its socket.
    • Press down with your fingertip on one side, then the other, until it clicks into place.

For wider connectors, do not press down in the middle until they are fully seated to avoid bending or breaking the pins.

If you know which camera is faulty, you may skip this and go directly to disconnecting it.
