  • Refer to our troubleshooting page for a detailed approach before starting this replacement guide.

Swollen batteries can be hazardous; handle with extreme caution and puncture them at your own risk.

Back up all data before proceeding, as battery failure or improper disposal may result in data loss.

  • Purchase a replacement battery compatible with the OnePlus Nord N200 (DE2118).
  • Acquire precision tools necessary for the repair.

Dispose of old batteries according to local regulations, as they contain toxic and reactive components. Consult this link on proper disposal methods.

The suction tool may not work on the phone's rear glass due to its surface.

  • Use a thin slicing tool (Jimmy) instead.
  • Insert the Jimmy into the seam between the rear glass and midframe at the bottom edge of the phone.
  • This may require some force.
  • Leave the Jimmy in place for a few seconds to prevent adhesive resealing.

Insert an iFixit opening pick into the gap.

  • Slide the Jimmy around the phone to slice the adhesive.
  • Insert a second iFixit opening pick at the sliced spot.

Disconnect the battery from the charger before repair to avoid damage.

  • Apply a spudger or opening pick under the connector's edge and pry straight up to release the battery.
  • Pry carefully under the connector's edge, avoiding the socket on the board to prevent damage.

Work carefully to avoid damaging small components. Never touch sensitive parts.

  • To reconnect:
  • Align the connector over its socket and press down with your fingertip-first on one side, then the other, until it clicks into place.

Avoid pressing down on middle of wider connectors until fully seated to prevent damage or bending/breaking of pins.

Step 11 | Speaker

Do not risk damaging the socket — ensure prying is directly under the connector's edge.

  • Position a spudger or an opening tool under the connector's edge.
  • Pry straight up to disconnect the battery, taking care not to scrape nearby components.

Step 14

Always start by disconnecting the black coaxial cable connector as it is safer first.

  • Insert a thin, ESD-safe pry tool or angled tweezers under the metal neck, close to the head.
  • Lift the head straight up from the board to avoid damaging the socket underneath.

Avoid damaging the socket by prying at an odd angle.

  • Use a thin, ESD-safe pry tool or angled tweezers to lift the coaxial cable connector straight up from the board.
  • To reconnect, hold the connector with tweezers over its socket and press down gently with your finger or a spudger.

Do not force the connector into place; it should "snap" into position when aligned correctly.
