OnePlus Nord N20 5G Speaker Replacement
Replace your damaged speaker in the OnePlus Nord N20 5G (CPH2459) to resolve no sound issues at maximum volume.
Step 1 | Back Cover
- Insert a SIM ejection tool or spudger into the SIM tray's small hole.
- Pull the tray gently until it pops out.
- Slide the SIM card tray outwards to remove it.
Step 2
Heat the iOpener in a microwave for 30 seconds.
- If still not hot enough, reheat for an additional 10-30 seconds.
- Apply heated iOpener to back of phone for 1 minute.
- Use iFixit opening tool to pry off back panel along edges.
Step 3 | Speaker
Remove the 18 3.9 mm screws using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.
Step 4
Use the iFixit opening tool to pry along the edges of the frame.
- Work carefully around all sides to loosen the back housing.
- The back housing should now be separated from the frame of the screen.
Step 5
- Spudger and gently lift the speaker, disengaging it from the motherboard.
- Completely remove the speaker from the device.
