OnePlus Nord N20 5G Motherboard Replacement

Faulty motherboard may cause connectivity, Bluetooth, and performance issues in OnePlus Nord N20 5G (CPH2459).

Insert the SIM ejector tool into the small hole next to the SIM tray.

  • Pull the tray outwards after a slight click is heard.
  • The SIM card tray can now be removed by sliding it outwards.

Reheat the iOpener in 10-30 second increments, until hot.

  • Apply heated iOpener to phone's backside for one minute.
  • Use iFixit opening tool and slide along edges to pry off back panel.

Remove all 18 3.9 mm screws with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

Use the iFixit opening tool to pry along the edges.

  • Separate the back housing from the screen frame.

  • Use a spudger to disconnect the brackets attached to the motherboard.
  • Remove the 2.8 mm Phillips #0 screw from the motherboard with a Phillips #0 screwdriver, taking care not to damage any wires.

Remove the black and white wires from the motherboard with a spudger.

  • Pull back the front facing camera for easier access to the board.

Remove the motherboard by pulling it upwards with a spudger.
