OnePlus Nord N20 5G Earpiece Speaker Replacement
Careful handling of the iOpener is essential to avoid damage or burn risk.
- Confirm that your phone model matches: OnePlus Nord N20 5G (Model Number - CPH2459).
- Check if earpiece speaker replacement is required due to in-call audio issues.
Step 1 | Back Cover
Insert the SIM ejection tool or a spudger into the small hole beside the SIM tray.
- Push gently until the tray pops out.
- Slide the SIM card tray outwards to remove it.
Step 2
Heat the iOpener in a microwave for 30 seconds.
If not hot enough, reheat for another 10-30 seconds.
- Apply heated iOpener on phone backside for one minute to loosen adhesive.
- Use the iFixit opening tool and slide it along edges to pry off the back panel.
Step 3 | Motherboard
Remove all 18 3.9 mm screws with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.
Step 4
- Use the iFixit opening tool to pry along the edges.
- Separate the back housing from the frame of the screen.
Step 5
Disconnect the brackets attached to the motherboard with a spudger.
- Remove the 2.8 mm screw from the motherboard using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.
- Beware of damaging any wires while removing the screw.
Step 6
Remove the black and white wires from the motherboard with a spudger.
- Pull back the front-facing camera to facilitate easier board removal.
Step 7
Remove the motherboard by pulling it upward with a spudger.
Step 8 | Earpiece Speaker
Disconnect the earpiece speaker with a spudger.
