Insert the bristles of an unused brush into the charging port and move in a circular motion to dislodge small particles.
Use compressed air, blowing vertically only, to clear remaining debris from the charging port.

Download the OnePlus Diagnostic app from the app store.
Click the "View Battery Status" button and compare the displayed number to your phone's original battery life.

Poor health may be due to excessive battery drain, which can be caused by resource-intensive apps.

Determine which apps are draining the most power by checking your phone's app usage statistics.
Adjust settings within these apps or uninstall them to reduce energy consumption and prolong battery life.

Replace the charging port.

Remove the phone casing using a screwdriver.
Disconnect the battery connector and screen cables.
Locate the charging port assembly and remove any screws holding it in place.
Carefully pull out the charging port and discard the old one.
Install the new charging port into its original position and secure with screws.
Reconnect the battery connector and screen cables.
Replace the phone casing and test the charging port.
