OnePlus Nord N10 5G Battery Replacement

  • Replacing the battery in a OnePlus Nord N10 5G smartphone is the purpose of this guide.

Step 1 | SIM Tray

Insert a SIM card eject tool into the hole on the side of the phone.

  • Position the tool in the hole below the SIM tray.
  • Press firmly to release the tray.
  • Pull the tray out the rest of the way.

Place phone on a clean heat-resistant surface or mat.

  • Keep flammable materials away from work area.

Position heat gun tip 2-3 inches above device to avoid damage.

Exposure time depends on adhesive, temperature, and distance between heat gun and device.

  • Move heat gun along edge of phone back cover.

Keep heat gun in motion; do not leave it stationary for too long, as this could damage device.

Some adhesives require multiple heating and prying cycles to loosen properly.

  • Heat glue around fingerprint button with small circular motions.

Place the suction cup on the back, then squeeze.

  • Gently pull on the suction cup.
  • Insert an opening pick in the space between the front and back cover.
  • Slide it around the perimeter to loosen the glue.
  • Slowly remove the bottom cover.

Step 4

Loosen the four screws securing the camera lens using a small Phillips screwdriver.

  • Remove the lens carefully.

Step 5

Avoid puncturing the battery with your Phillips screwdriver.

  • Remove the eleven screws around the back using a Phillips screwdriver.
  • Employ an opening tool to carefully pry off the mid frame.

Step 6

Locate the battery. Identify the battery connector, a small silver rectangle on the top right-hand side.

  • Use the spudger to unplug the battery from the device.

Step 7

Identify the red release tab on the battery's side.

  • Gently pull the release tab to loosen the adhesives.
  • Remove the thin black tape strips holding the battery in place.
