OnePlus Nord CE Speaker and Vibrator Assembly Replacement

The Main Speaker & Vibrator Assembly is a single unit on the OnePlus Nord CE.

Step 1 | Removing the back cover

Heating the device with an iOpener can loosen the adhesive, but use caution.

Lift the back cover using a Suction Handle.
Insert an Opening Pick under the back cover to prevent it from closing.

Step 2 | Removing the rear housing

Be careful when handling internal components.

Remove the SIM card tray located above the selfie camera.
Take out 18 Phillips #00 screws from the rear housing.
Insert an Opening Pick between the midframe and side rim to unclip the rear housing.
Start unclipping near the SIM card or side button cut-outs for best results.
Continue unclipping around the entire perimeter and remove any remaining adhesive.

Step 3 | Disconnecting the battery

Use a Spudger to carefully pry the battery connector upwards.

Ensure that the contacts do not make contact with each other during removal.

Step 4 | Speaker and Vibrator Assembly

Locate and remove the Phillips #00 screw atop the speaker and vibrator assembly.

Compress the midframe horizontally to unclip the speaker and vibrator assembly.
