OnePlus Nord CE Rear Housing Replacement

The rear housing contains moving parts, so be careful when handling it.

The rear housing consists of a plastic side rim and an internal PCB cover.
To access the PCBs, you must disassemble the rear housing for battery and screen replacement.

Step 1 | Removing the back cover

Use a Suction Handle to lift the back cover.

Insert an Opening Pick under the back cover.

Heating with an iOpener may aid adhesive removal, but be cautious of heat damage.

Step 2 | Removing the rear housing

Locate the SIM card tray near the selfie camera, accessible from the top-right when viewing the phone from the back.

Remove 18 Phillips #00 screws from the rear housing to begin disassembly.
Insert an Opening Pick between the side rim and midframe's outer rim, nearest the SIM card or side button cut-outs, to start unclipping the rear housing.
Continue unclipping the rear housing all around and carefully unstick the plastic piece held by adhesive.
