Discharge your battery to below 25% before disassembling to avoid thermal events.
Tape over a cracked rear glass panel before continuing.
Use a hair dryer to lightly warm the edges of the rear glass.
Apply a suction handle near the bottom edge.
If no gap forms, apply more heat before proceeding.
Slide an opening pick around the perimeter of the rear glass to start slicing the adhesive.
Apply firm pressure for 5 minutes to ensure the rear glass adheres properly.
Remove the lower part of the wireless charging cable using an opening pick.
Unplug the press connector ribbon cable from the flash module by inserting a spudger under the bottom edge and prying straight up.
Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove five screws.
Remove the screws from the loudspeaker with a Phillips #000 screwdriver.
Remove the loudspeaker using a spudger.
Press firmly to eject the tray — risk of damage if pressed too hard.
Locate the charging port and insert a spudger into the gap between the port and its frame.
Use a spudger to unclip the ribbon cable on the bottom left side of the daughter board.
Disconnect all coaxial network cables using a spudger.
Use the spudger to pry the daughter board loose from its position at the top.
Use the spudger to pry off the USB charging port and the ribbon cable from the right side.
