OnePlus 8 SIM Card Tray Replacement

This repair guide is for replacing the SIM card tray on the OnePlus 8 device.

Step 1 | Eject the SIM card tray

  • Insert a SIM eject tool, ejector bit, or straightened paper clip into the SIM card tray hole.
  • Press firmly to eject the tray.

Step 2 | Remove the SIM card tray

Remove the SIM card tray from the phone.

A damaged or missing rubber gasket compromises water resistance and internal component protection; replace as necessary.

  • Orient the SIM card correctly within the tray before reinserting it into the phone.
