Discharge battery below 25% before disassembling to prevent fire risk.

Be cautious when using external heat sources: hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate.
Apply a suction handle to the center of the bottom edge of the rear glass, as close as possible.
If your display is badly cracked, cover it with clear packing tape for better suction or use strong tape instead of a suction cup. If all else fails, superglue the suction cup to the broken screen.
Slide the opening pick to the bottom right corner to cut the adhesive.
Do not remove the opening pick before replacing the rear glass, or the adhesive may reseal.
Insert the second opening pick under the rear glass's bottom edge, into the gap you just created.
Reheat iOpener and apply to edge for 2 minutes if slicing trouble occurs.
Leave the pick in top left corner to prevent resealing of adhesive.
Insert opening pick at top left corner of rear glass.
Insert the fifth opening pick into the top right corner of the rear glass.
If stuck, slide an opening pick around entire perimeter until rear glass separates completely.
Remove any sticker covering a screw on the right edge of the motherboard cover using the tip of your screwdriver or tweezers.
Locate and pry open motherboard cover clips using a flat-end spudger.
Remove the motherboard cover.
Puncturing the battery with sharp tools risks chemical leakage and fire.
Separate the adhesive securing the battery using the provided red pull tab.
Do not reuse a damaged battery as it poses a fire hazard.
Replace it with a new battery and peel away the extra tape on its left edge.
Apply new adhesive in the old adhesive's frame location, not directly on the battery itself.
